This winter we plan to check and change the equipment of our accommodations. One of the surprises we prepare for the next spring when you’ll visit us.

Big mushrooms have grown close to our big oak trees. A good sign of soil fertility !

Children enjoied so much this time of Haloween ! A good way to forget the outside cold weather at that time.

The Domaine de La Barre received the rugbywomen team of Parthenay. They trained aroud the pound and had a good time in our accomodations.

The farm “Saint-Michel” of  the Domaine welcomes baby ponies: History, Happy, Hourra & Irlande. At least three other ponies will be born during the coming autumn. The father, Edall is very proud of him !

Species of Ludwigia are now found around the pond. The yellow flowers are beautiful but if nothing is done, the surface of pond could be totally recovered by vegetation, inducing oxygenation problems for the fishes. Therefore, this summer, we have extracted as much as possible roots of this invasive plant.
